Tom Osborne announced today that he will be staying at Nebraska, removing the Interim out of his Athletic Director title. Osborne has agreed to stay with the Cornhuskers until 2010.

Osborne returned to Nebraska as Interim Athletic Director on October 16 to fix a program that saw its football team head into the wrong direction. As Athletic Director Osborne will oversee 23 sports with a $66.7 million budget…a little different then his days as Nebraska head coach. Nebraska football is coming off their second losing season in the past fours years.

Osborne has said on numerous occasions that he is looking to bring back the Cornhuskers to national prominence through going back to what gave them success under his direction.
