If you’re like me and you play fantasy football your league has probably either just wrapped or is going into it’s version of the Superbowl this weekend. Personally, I’m in a 10 team league and my team has gloriously made the championship game. It’s my second time reaching the big game — I was crushed back in 2005 with Billy Volek at the helm for the finals. Truly a crushing blow, but what could I possibly have expected after resorting to Volek. Injuries will kill you. Either way, if you are still alive or are looking for a few good men to finish out the season, look no further…
Aaron Stecker — with Reggie Bush ailing he’s most likely not available, especially after his 2 touchdown performance last week. But you never know and he’s definitely a better pure RB than Bush.
David Garrard or Kurt Warner– if you’ve got Peyton Manning (who’s team has clinched) or Tony Romo (who is banged up) you might want to take a flyer on Garrard. He never turns the ball over and has been extremely productive in the second half of the year. Warner is facing the lowly Falcons this week and could put up a monster game.
Dwayne Bowe — he’s only been in the end zone four times this season but does have 885 yards and could be a solid start this week versus
Detroit. The Lions have completely tanked on the season and this could be one of those shootout type of games with little defense played on both sides of the field.
Well, good luck in your FFB 2008 Superbowl. I know I’ll be watching…
