Favre ended the say with 61,405 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Earlier in the season Favre set the record for most victories by a starting quarterback, passing John Elway.

Oh yeah, the Packers also clinched a first-round bye with their win against St. Louis.  The Packers are probably the 2nd best team in the weak NFC, only the Cowboys would stand in their way of making the Super Bowl and losing to an AFC team. Yeah I said it…and I apologize to any NFC fan that statement might upset but come on, do you think any team in the NFC can hang with the New England Patriots or the Indianapolis Colts? There are good teams in the AFC that wont make the playoffs and there are horrible teams in the NFC that will. Tampa Bay? Seattle? Come on…the best games this year in the playoffs will be AFC games leading up to the Super Bowl.
