In the never ending saga that is Michael Vick, two of the former NFL stars co-defendants were sentenced today to 18 and 21 months in prison on the dogfighting and conspiracy charges - both sentences were on the high end of what was recommended by the prosecutors.  Both men will also be fined $250 and be placed on 3 years probation once they get out of jail.

Based on the co-defendants cooperation the prosecuters recommend sentences on the lower end of what is required by law but, the judge obviously felt differently.  Vick faces a maximum of 5 years in prison when he goes before the judge December 10th….based on his fellow dog fighters, I wouldn’t expect to see Vick out of jail for a couple years minimum.
