Tony Romo, who is dating Jessica Simpson…had to say it…led the Cowboys to their 11th victory of the season and clinched a playoff spot in a 27-27 win over the Green Bay Packers. Romo threw 4 TD’s, 2 to Patrick Crayton and 1 to T.O in a game that saw Ironman himself, Brett Favre, leave the game with a busted elbow and shoulder.
Favre was walloped by cornerback Nate Jones in the second quarter when Jones came in untouched. “I had a similar injury last year,” Favre said. “I lost feeling in my fingers and I still have some tingling. But I think I’ll be fine.” Favre hopes to play next week but only time will tell.Â
Meanwhile Romo continues to have a stellar, record-setting, season for the Cowboys. Romo is the season record holder for TD passes with 33 (and counting) and set the Dallas record for throwing a TD in his 16th consecutive game. Romo and the Cowboys have proven themselves to be the leading candidate to lose to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
On a happier note Ryan Grant, who I picked up on the wavier wire, scored 2 TD’s for me last night giving me a great start for the week. Go Stamford Shockers!
