23 months. Almost 2 years in prison. I am still in shock. I remember watching Vick play at Virignia Tech and marveling out how good of an athlete. I remember watching him in all of his commercials.  Sadly, now I will remember him by being that NFL star who killed and bet on dogs and went to jail in his prime.

The former Falcons QB could have been sent to prison for up to 5 years but instead for the 23 months, which included a few weeks of time served.  Vick appeared in court today to hear his sentence in a black and white striped prison suit…they should have had him dress up like McGruff the crime dog.  In August Vick pleased guilty on charges of bank rolling the dogfighting operation and helped kill 6 dogs.
